Senses by Ró is a love story, a story that began because of a gift and came to life through a long time love of creating beautiful things.

I am Róisín and this is my story.

‘So why start a new business making candles when you’re not exactly a spring chicken’ I hear you ask! And I say to you ’why not!’

I have done many things throughout my career including writing a book and running my own business and so when the Pandemic hit, I closed my travel business and found myself at home doing family things, not thinking about what I would do next. What I didn’t expect was a delivery on Valentine’s Day 2021 that would change all that and so here I am today.

The joy I found in making candles started off in my kitchen and grew through the highs and lows, the hard work and the desire to produce the best candles. I soon decided to create my brand Senses by Ró. It took two years of testing and learning to understand the craft of candle-making and it is a constant joy and a challenge to keep on learning.
