My story

I've always been passionate about fragrance and its power to evoke warmth, love, the seasons, even nostalgia. That, and a natural curiosity about how things are made, is what led me to create Senses By Ró in 2021.

Like everyone, I found that COVID changed everything. Work and family life began to blend, priorities shifted, and the time I never thought I'd find started to appear. For me, that meant closing my travel business and discovering something new. I've always had a creative streak and a love of making things, and my passion for candle-making grew from there.

I know how much good ingredients matter and how they need to come together to create a great experience. Testing different combinations to understand how they work together is the key to a great fragrance.

That's why each scent in the collection is designed to ignite one of the senses: Harmony for hearing, Memories for sight, Sunset for smell, Zest for taste and Silk for touch. Tranquility, a calming lavender, is there for when you simply need to slow down.

Every candle, diffuser and spray is made and packed by me in Dún Laoghaire, so when you order, you're supporting one person and a small business. Thank you.
